On YouTube I'm making my own little "Series" made with paint (1280x720) and editing in Corel videostudio x5. In corel when saving a movie file you have a lot of different options you can use.

so my question is what is better to use?
WMV. 720 30p
WMV. 1080 30p

AVCHD 1280x720 60p
AVCHD 1920x1080 60p
AVCHD 1920x1080
AVCHD 1920x1080p
HDTV 1080i 60i (For PC)
HDTV 720 60p (For PC)

PLEASE NOTE: My paint series is in 1280x720 (720HD) and i'm just trying to find the best quality for YouTube! also before I upload it to YouTube it will be saved to my PC first!

It would be better for HD quality to upload. People nowadays, like in the states have a fast internet connection and better computers. So i think 720p or 1080p is a resolution to upload.

However, I think you should consider using wmv because youtube supports only the following formats:

Also because the bigger the file size, the more bandwith you need o upload it right?

And i'm not sure, but the rest of your options such as

AVCHD 1280x720 60p

AVCHD 1920x1080 60p

AVCHD 1920x1080

AVCHD 1920x1080p

HDTV 1080i 60i (For PC)

HDTV 720 60p (For PC)

look like they'll be in mkv or something with huge file sizes (mybe even gigs, because you are using 60 fps, though that may be dependent on the video length of video), and I'm not sure if those filetypes were meant for streaming. Usually, you want less size yet better quality so it easier to upload and stream.

so i think it better if you use WMV for 720p/1080p or try converting it to other formats and see if the quality is better or worse.

try converting between Webm, avi, and mp4 and see what you get.

also heres info on Webm if you want:

This tutorial shows how to render a VSP X5 project according to YouTube's recommendations: mpeg-4, H.264, 30fps, AAC audio.

HD quality is preserved. You can see that my mpeg-4 tutorials are HD.

(Always use the resolution (size) of your clips otherwise the frames will be stretched and will look distorted. My clips are 1280X720 AVCHD so I always use 1280X720.)

By the way, just because you upload in HD (720p) quality doesn't mean that that quality will be displayed on everyone's computer. Since my internet speed dropped off in March, I can no longer watch my own HD videos at 720p but I'm stuck at 360p:-(
