I'm uploading a video that is 15 minutes long and it's been 6 hours since I started. I only have 52% of it done. it says that it'll take 800+ more minutes. I read somewhere that it usually takes like only 1-2 hours. what's going on?

I think you should check your internet network first, if it's right, and can access youtube quickly and correctly, but still take a long time to upload the video on youtube, maybe there is something wrong within your video, such as video too large for your internet speed, video profile problem, video codec problem, etc, so you'd better use a right software to compress and convert your video to be smaller and right profile then upload onto youtube quickly, you can follow me to use Youtube Movie Maker, it can auto convert any wrong profile or format/codec video files to the best profile and format/codec youtube videos then upload onto youtube quickly, and it can directly compress the target video file size to short the upload process, just run Youtube Movie Maker, press "Upload Video", add your video file in the file list, then press "Setting" button to set a smaller target file size, at last press "Convert & Upload", it will auto compress and convert your video file to be smaller size and right profile and format then upload on youtube quickly, you can download it from makeyoutubevideo.com, hope it can help you.

If the video is in high quality, it can take a LONG time to upload. Maybe it's something with your internet connection. Or maybe YouTube? Try starting it over, because it sounds like it's possibly a mistake...

Some videos are encoded with codecs that don't upload well to YouTube. Convert your video to a common file type and it should upload much faster.
