How do i convert a video file?

Question

i try to upload a video on youtube and after i click upload, it says, cannot convert the vidoe file,its only because i used some editting thingy to make my vids look better


but its not just that please help me on how to make it work

Go to zamzar.com and save that site in your bookmarks

then go to the youtube video that you want to convert, and click the bookmark to zamzar

then it'll direct you to it's converting page, and you can decide what you want it to convert to!

Ensure the file format is correct before uploading to youtube...



Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is "wmv" file (use the "save movie file" on the menu at the top left) before upload..



The WMV file will be smaller in size but still quite good quality.. so uploading it will be faster.

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

i am not completely certain but if youtube wont let you upload, after you edited your movie, was it converted to another video file? If so, check and see what movies youtube allows, ex. .mpg, .avi, etc... and then check the video your trying to upload.
