Why do alot of people hate Youtube?

Question

Im not asking why the entertainment buisness hates youtube, i know that. but why do a lot of internet celebrities seem to have something against youtube and dont want their vids posted on the tube. I know theres the problem with a lot stupid people putting stupid comments on youtube (for example, when people just write useless stuff like "lol" or "haha nice") but thats still desn't outweigh that the real competition for poppularity on the net is on youtube(well atleast for video bloggers and other video ppl).

mostly because some internet videos or independent people who produce these videos want people to visit their own website. not youtube, they want ad revenue. example are podcast or video series or internet shows like in revision3. It is also very hard to track on their users when people watch their videos on youtube or any other popular video website other than their own blog/website. The entertainment business however doesn't really hate youtube. they hate those people who upload copyrighted material into youtube. most big companies like NBC use youtube to expand their material base.



@born in scotland : i dont know about that virus and spyware you were talking about but i never heard about any complains about viruses and spyware in youtube. correct me if im wrong :)

I didn't know that internet celebrities hate Youtube. Isn't it YOUTUBE that make them famous in the first place? I mean, they're INTERNET celebrities, it's the INTERNET that make them famous, and if they got famous by videos, then shouldn't they THANK Youtube for them being famous? If you're talking about the copyrighted stuff, then celebritites will hate it because they didn't get pay a royalty fee for somethign that they make, probably.

Well for a start most clips are put there without the person's permission.EG Concert clips etc and secondly I have found that you can get viruses and spyware through it.

Personally though I love it apart from that!

i do no longer know there is not any reason to hate her she is fairly fairly and is quite gifted. and he or she isn't a ***** or a slut, she is a christian and he or she would not do no longer something incorrect so i do no longer see why there is any reason to hate her. the sole people who hate her are haters themselves. they choose they may be as fairly as her and as gifted. circulate SELENA.

i didnt know anyone hates it. i had no idea. it's awesome to me. i wonder why they hate it though.
