How do you earn money from YouTube? Some people said monetize your videos but I'm so confused??

you need to make entertaining videos and accumulate a certain number of subscribers and views before you become a 'partner' and start working for youtube and earning money. If you have no talents in making videos or comical vlogs i'd say chose a different career path.

You monetize your videos, when monetizing your videos adverts play on your videos. These are paid for adverts, every 1,000 monetized views you get roughly $1 it can be more or less it really depends on your "CPM". Not all views are monetized, mobile views sometimes aren't, same if people use adblock those aren't too. If you have any copyright you can not make money off the video. You earn revenue through annoying ads placed at the beginning of your videos from Google Adsense.



You have to sign up, monetize your videos and wait...... a very long time. Depending on how many views you get, it may take years before you get the minimum $100 threshold. Don't expect to live off of your videos unless they're extremely popular (millions of views).
