How Do You Post A Video On Youtube?

Question

Do you have to upload it somewhere?

Do you HAVE TO HAVE pictures or images in it? Or could it just be like a black background?

I'm planning on posting a video on youtube of me singing BUT i don't really know how or what to do to post it.

So could you give me a step-to-step instructions as to how to post a video on youtube?

AND if you know any websites that you could just post NOT a video but just of your singing voice could you tell me & give me instructions how to post it? Thanks

1. Sign up for Youtube

2. Log in to Youtube

3. There is a yellow button on the high right hand corner of the page

4. Click on it

5. Upload the video

6. Name the video(while its uploading) and give it some tags(a word that makes it easier for your friends to find it)

7. Wait for you video to finish processing(this might take a few minutes depending on how long the video is)

8. Enjoy your new video on Youtube



Ok for just your singing voice do the same thing above EXCEPT don't make it a video instead record your voice on a CD then upload the Mp3 file to Youtube and your set.

Convert your video of you singing into an MP3 w/ a media concerter (you can download them for free).



Then go to windows movie maker (comes w/ windows) and make a movie. Just find a still of something.. anything like a flower and put that in storyboard/timeline on the bottom and then stick the audio of your voice where the audio goes

(if you have never used this program before then play around w/ it.. I can't explain how to use it well w/o you see it)



When you have done that hit Publish Movie under File and when it's gone processing you can go to youtube and upload it & it will be just your voice, not you. The movie part will have the still of the flower or whatever you chose for the full time.
