i did this once a while ago, but i don't know if it is legal or not, i suppose it depends on the video, anyway, you go to the Video on youtube and at the beginning of the address bar, just before the part that says "youtube" type "kiss" so it should look something like www.kissyoutube.com/watch?blahblahblah, anyway so you follow the steps on that site until you've downloaded it the as far as i remember you just insert it into powerpoint but if that doesn't work you could try going into your Video player and copy and pasting it. hope this helped!

Just follow these steps, and you'll be able to show all your good videos on powerpoint presentation. Just 3 simple steps, and you can present your powerpoint with videos without online at all:

1- download the youtube video with "zillatube". Get the program from http://www.zillatube.com. This program helps to download and convert those videos the fastest way possible for your powerpoint. Other methods are slow.

2- using zillatube, convert it into mpg video format.

3- final step, a simple step, just insert movie file(using the file menu above the powerpoint program) the mpg video into power point.

(Note: make sure the mpg video is placed in the same folder with your powerpoint file, then you can bring the folder to any computer and view it)

all the best to your presentation.

If the computer that will be used for the show has internet access, you can embed a link to the video on the slide by highlighting the text or other object you want to trigger the link and then selecting the "insert hyperlink" button on the toolbar. The hyperlink button has a globe and chain as its picture.

Your other option is to use a third party program to capture the video and save it on your computer in a file format that's compatible with one of your computer programs. You then go to the Insert tab in powerpoint and scroll down to select "Movies and Sounds," after that, you select "Movie From File." At that point, you then select the video to insert on your slide.
