I tried to upload my videos onto youtube and it says 'The upload failed due to an unknown error.' This happend before and i shrunk the size down and it worked perfectly , I tried doing it again and it still said there was an unknown error. The size of the video is 5.77MB and on youtube you can only upload videos up to 2GB but i dont know how much that is converting into MB. The video is less than 10 minutes (Only up to 3 minutes) whats the problem? how can I fix this and get my video onto youtube?

YOU DON'T NEED ANY DOWNLOADER OR CONVERTER. SOME ANSWERERS TO

YOUR QUESTION ARE REALLY DISGUISED SALESPEOPLE TRYING TO "SUCKER"

YOU INTO BUYING THEIR COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY AND BOGUS PROGRAM

(which is insulting, since their software has got absolutely nothing to do with uploading).

If you're getting the message "THE UPLOAD FAILED DUE TO AN UNKNOWN ERROR"

it means that a "time-out" or a "run-time" error has taken place.

Problems like that are usually due to either your ISP, YouTube,

or a network "hub-&-spoke" between the two that is attempting

to send your uplink to YouTube's servers. If that is the problem,

it's usually just temporary, and fixes itself quickly.

Another cause could be a weak or ''spiked'' internet connection.

One thing you could do is press your "F5" key (or the "Refresh"

icon) and then try your upload again. Bear in mind though, that

your connection to YouTube needs to be smooth and constant

throughout the entire upload process (meaning no interruptions

or hiccups), otherwise everything will screw-up again and you'll

have to redo it all over. Thus, if you have a wireless connection,

make sure that it is seamless, strong, and without fluctuations.

You may want to try by-passing your router, and instead using

a cable from your computer connected directly to your modem.

There is also the possibility that you're unknowingly sending to

YouTube a bad, false or corrupted "cookie" or that maybe your

''cache" is full. [Although you're just uploading a video, it is still

using up your computer's RAM.] Thus....1) exit out of YouTube,

2) exit out of your internet browser, 3) reopen that web browser

anew, 4) do one of the sequences below, 5) shutdown + reboot.

Another possible cause of that dreaded "unknown error" is that

you may be doing other things on your computer while you are

uploading. Quit other running applications, or perhaps consider

uploading your video without the "progress bar" -- because that

involves extra back-&-forth interaction between you & YouTube.

Also, for the brief moment while you are uploading a video, you

can temporarily disable your antivirus and/or firewall -- because

you cannot get a virus from simply uploading a video.

Videos issues are often related to Adobe Flash Player (you can download it here http://j.mp/1sxRXul) You have to download and install/update Adobe flash player to be able to watch videos on the internet (Youtube, Facebook, etc..) With Flash Player as well as watching videos you can also play flash games online. Sometimes this software is not installed or is damaged/corrupted and it's responsible for many problem with videos. Hope that helps.

Do you mean how to save mswmm project file to a video file by windows movie maker. Easy way, you can run windows movie maker, and click "Tasks" to show Movie Tasks pane, then select "save to my computer", then next and next, you can get a wmv video file from your .mswmm project files, then you can try upload wmv file onto youtube, some wmv file can be directly uploaded to youtube, but if failed to upload, you can try use a video converter software to convert the wmv video file to the best youtube video format, then upload again. the best youtube video format is 1280x720 16:9 MP4(h.264 video codec, aac audio codec), or 640*480 4:3 MP4(h.264 video codec, aac audio codec), or normal FLV videos, you can use RZ Video Converter to convert any videos to the best youtube videos, like convert wmv to youtube flv videos, wmv to youtube mp4 videos, etc. It also can directly convert any videos or audios between different formats, such as convert wmv to avi or mpg, etc. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter, easy to use, hope it can help you.

what program did you use to edit the video? if you used movie maker, u have to save it as a video file, not as a windows movie maker file (wmm files arent considered a video format) if you not using that, still try it and see what you come up with!! oh and also try restarting your computer
