Other video sites are working but for some reason over the past couple of days youtube hasn't been working.
basically, whenever i try to go onto youtube it freezes and then it says youtube has stopped responding.
This problem may have been caused when my norton stopped working and so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but they may also be completely unrelated, that's just when I first noticed the problem.
This is really irritating me and all help is appectiated.

P.s youtube is working on both my ipod and mobile.

I was using Opera 11.61. At that time Youtube and any other site I went to was not giving me any trouble. The trouble started when I upgraded to Opera 12.00. Since then I remembered what "freezing" and "crashing" was like and Youtube was "laughing in my face"... OMG...

I tried the latest version of Firefox: Same thing happened. Youtube vids, including my own, kept getting stuck at random. Moving the mouse around somehow was helping. Yeah, right: Every few seconds I had to keep moving the mouse around like an idiot... Oh, that was no fun at all.

No, I did not forget about the Internet Explorer. I was amazed with how fast and smooth it was working. However, I had to give up on it, because I noticed something weird: the new tabs were actually opening in individual separate windows. Huh??? I clicked "New tab", not "New window", but it was acting like I opened new window... Goodbye, Internet Explorer...

Google Chrome was also there for me. Every time I opened Google home page, a giant blue button was always there for me to click on. Yet, it advertised the Chrome to be incredibly fast... Ah, why not???

Bingo!!! After all that crap I have been through, finally I can sit back and relax while watching stuff off Youtube or any other site. Shoot, I almost forgot what the pleasure of watching something online s like. it just lets you watch things w/o any interruptions. Just like good ol' times...

Chrome does handle it the way it is meant to be handled. I would recommend it to everybody I know.

If you are using internet explorer, upgrade to a newer internet browswer like Firefox or Google Crome.

They run much faster and you might have to Java Update.

download is pretty simple
