I have the phone number of a famou youtuber, what should I do?

I was looking through the facebook page of an internet famous youtuber, and I found a post from before he made his youtube channel that said "Hey guys I got a new number, text me!" (with his number attached) from a little under a year ago. If this is still his phone number I'd love to text him, but I don't want to bug him/spam him with texts because that's rude. I also don't want to scare him by sounding like a huge stalker. What could send him without sounding like a creep, or being rude?
I idol this youtuber by the way, so I really want to get to know him, what should I do?

lol sorry You should probably figure out if that's actually his number first. Maybe just text it "hi, who's this?" or something, and then if its who you thought explain to him that he should probably take his phone number off facebook.
