I am a teenager btw if yah needed to know thanks list as many ideas as possible. They rejected me the last time I asked. Did your parents say their reason(s) for not letting you make a youtube? If not, ask them and ask if you can work something out. Tell them they can monitor your use of youtube and view your videos. Also show them your profile and how you can hide any info you want if they're worried about stalkers or something. Youtube is a safe site the worst thing that could happen is you may stumble upon an inappropriate video.

If you ever get to finally make a youtube, add me as a friend so I can see your videos!

show them an example of other youtube vids where people do the same thing. This way they can see that its completely anonymous. Even tell them u wont even use ur real first name anywhere or any identifying info. Lastly tell them that they can watch and even subscribe to ur page so they can always see what u post.

What I would do is give them a big speech about how you are very responsible, and recite things you WILL NOT do (whatever it is they're scared your going to do)

also inform them that you have the ability to make videos private, so it wont be viewable by everyone, just a chosen few. which...you dont have to do, they wont know the difference.

and honestly if its just singing i dont see the harm in that. just let them know the safety youtube has for its users, just really make them feel comfrotable with the idea.
