Windows Live Movie Maker can't upload to Youtube.?

Question

I have a windows account and everything you need to use movie maker. Everything was working fine until now where I try uploading videos to youtube and it says that I have an invalid password. I already know I'm typing the password correctly. The username for my channel is automatically remembered in Movie Maker. This problem has never occurred before and I've had to reset my password, but I still get no results and the same invalid password error shows up when I try signing in and uploading to youtube through Movie Maker. Is this a glitch with the Windows update that happened today (for me at least) or is it something troubling? I also know that youtube doesn't let you sign in with just your username anymore, just your e-mail (if you sign into youtube using their homepage at least). So has Movie Maker been changed and why is this error occurring when I know I'm typing my password in correctly? Is it just an error that came with the latest Windows update, a problem with Movie Maker itself or just a change in how to log in and upload with Movie Maker? Please help.

I'm having the same problem! :( No idea how to fix it. There's no error codes that pop up or anything, WLMM just acts like the log in information is invalid despite everything being correct. I really hope we can fix this! T^T



Oh and uploading straight to youtube takes way toooooo long. Dunno about you, but it gives me some bogus estimated upload time like 3470 minutes versus 4-5 minutes with WLMM.

I figured it out! You have to have different passwords for applications linked to your google account(s). The link explains more about it.

HECK NO! IM FINDING WLMM ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS BECAUSE THE FILE FORMAT IS NOT RECOGNIZED BY ANY BODY EVEN WONDERSHARE NEVER HEARD OF IT . WLMM IS WORTHLESS UNLESS U LIKE SPENDING HOURS OR DAYS MAKING YOUR COOL VID JUST TO SIT AND WATCH IT BY YOURSELF ....WISH IT WOULD WORK ...BUT IT DOESNT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME MAYBE SOMEONE AT MICROSOFT WILL SEE THIS AND GET IT TOGETHER AND FIX IT ALWAYS HOPEFUL

do they give you an error code? have you tried going to youtube and press upload and get the video and paste it in the square

Go to pcmatic.com and fix your pc up for free. That should get rid of the error.
