How do bypass or get rid of the YouTube security question. Why is it there?

When i am commenting on YouTube after so many comments I get this message:

You have recently posted several comments.
Enter the text in the image to continue posting.

So i was wondering if there was anyway to just type in the same answer for all of them (hack/crack), get rid of it, no way to stop it, or other.
I have read it was because of spam? So can someone tell me if that is really why they started this.

Also I have read that some people have to type the letters in the picture on every single comment:

There is no way around it, and yes, it's to fight spam.

Hi,

The security question is there to help YouTube assure it is *YOU* in the case of trying to recover a lost password or other issue. It's an extra step to help prevent someone else from retrieving your password and using your account.

Hope this helps a bit!
