How do I get more views on Youtube? Makeup Videos?

Question

So I make videos on youtube about beauty. Which includes hair, makeup and fashion. I would like to know how to get more views and subscribers for my videos?
Are there any tips that I can follow to get my videos viewed more.

There will always be someone better than you at what you do so just be yourself, your personality is the only thing that you can give that no one else can give.

For hair/makeup stuff it gives you a lot of freedom to show your personality. I would do things like what are some problems have with hair/makeup/fashion?

Do a lot of DIY stuff, like how to fix your broken heel, how to make a home made mask out of honey, sugar and vinegar, stuff like that.

Solve the most common problems that you have when you are doing your hair makeup, clothes, etc. cause I guarantee that someone will youtube you to figure out the solve for a problem that is common.

To get comments, you need views.



To get views you need:

a) Good content.

And/or:

b) Good 'tag' words. The more the better (Youtube dose have an upper limit on the number though).

c) A good network of friends and subscribers.

d) Getting 'Likes'.

e) Don't forget to 'Share' your video's and 'Post a Bulletin' to your friends.



So, good content is the hard one. There are no rules, but try to be original, or stick to a theme, or both. Here's an example. Have a look at this:

The trick is to engage your viewer from the start, and keep them watching till the end. Hard to get your video 'Liked', if it's not watched in total.



Tagging your video with as many of the right words is very important. People find your video's with these 'Tags'. Use many tags.



Make freinds. Reach out to other simalar chanels, and [Add Friend]. Offer Sub4Sub to increase your subscribers.



Double check your editing (smooth transitions, clean/even audio, ECT) before uploading. Sloppy editing on your videos, effect your chances of getting 'Likes'. Remember too 'Like' your own video (people in your network will see this, and be only one click away from watching your video).



After uploading:

Use the 'Share' button, to put your video's on FaceBook/Twitter/MySpace/ETC.

Subscribers automaticly get sent your new video. Friends don't. On your channel, use the [Post Bulletin] to send your video to all your friends.



Also:

If you visit random pages and comment. People will see your avatar (one click, and there at your page), and have a link to you. Becareful of spamming. Some people get very upset.

There are several million teenagers uploading fashion and makeup videos to YouTube, all of whom believe that they are experts in the field. As a result, there's a great deal of competition. Unless your videos are unique in some way, they are likely to be lost in the crowd.

1. comment on a bunch of videos (like... literally, A BUNCH of them)

2. send out friend requests

3. make response videos to popular videos.

4. publicize on social networking sites (i.e. facebook, twitter, myspace)

5. join online forums to publicize your videos (i.e. squidoo, hubpages)

AND DO NOT USE AUTOMATED SOFTWARE. It is costly and trust me, you wont get the same satisfaction w/ program "watching" your videos and making your views skyrocketed!!!!!!!!

I will share with you some tips in getting as much youtube views, youtube subscribers, comments and youtube likes as you can



FREE METHODS ------>



1.Share your videos on social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc

2.Use content targeted words and find appropriate tags.

3.Build up a email list and tell them all bout your new video.

4.Place it on your blog/website or tell your friends to put it on theirs.

5.Post it on digg, stumbleupon etc

6.You can post it on forums where there is free review service or post it on sites where you refer other's and get free views.



These might be good for fun but for business purposes, I won't only rely on them..

As they would get you some traffic but they won't make it go viral and won't be sufficient.

You could also choose some paid methods which I have myself tested upon and completely satisfied with.

They had recently closed down because of the change in YouTube policies, But I had been satisfied again with the services they provide.

I got a email few days back that they are back on track. Co-incidentally I had to increase youtube views on one of my videos. I had two offers for them. In one I took the standard rate which was quite fine and as always up to my expectations.
