What's wrong with Youtube??? Or is it just me??

A few days ago my computer was working completely fine. I could watch 1080p Youtube videos without any problems.

But for two days now the videos are doing several things.

1) it'll load (the grey bar) and play for 14 secs before pausing and won't start up again for sometime.

2) the video quality (360p,480p,720p,1080p) suddenly becomes unavailable(not all at the same time just here and there) and automatically plays in the next available quality.

3) is kind of laggy when it never use to be

4) the video will play well but they'll be no sound

5) the screen will be black but the sound is still there

Sometimes it's all these problems and sometimes it's only a few.

Here's what i've done to try to resolve it myself.

1) I cleaned my computer with CCleaner

2) I uninstalled some softwares that i recently installed

3) I updated

4) I defragged

5) I disk checked

6) I ran my antivirus

7) I checked my RAM

8) I Googled

9) I restarted my computer

10) I restarted my Modem

11) I called my ISP

When I spoke to my ISP they said that my internet speed was fine (12mps download or something) and i checked the speed test site and got pretty much the same numbers.

But the problem is only with Youtube, every other site i've tried can play HD really well and my computer isn't running slow or doing anything funny, so is this a problem with the site or with my computer??? Also I've tried on both Chrome and Internet Explorer with the same outcome

Youtube's the only place I really like to watch clips so if you can't help resolve my Youtube problem I would appreciate any other alternative sites ^w^

Sorry for the long question but i'd really like this resolved before i start getting agro on my poor technologies lol

Please & Thankyou!!! ^w^

Other possibilities and solutions:

-- Right-click a video, click on ''Settings'' and uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration''

-- Disable your ''Adblock'' software, play a video; then you can re-enable your Adblock

-- Disable your anti-virus program (since you can not get a virus from YouTube videos)

-- If you updated to a newer version of Flash, it may be too "new" or incompatible with

your computer. You might want to consider reverting to a previous or an older Flash

-- You may unknowingly be using "HTML5" rather than "Flash''. To be sure, click here

well id start with go to computer and uninstall the cc cleaner and any other downloads that you don't need, then delete all your history in google search and internet options history i just check mark all the boxes and the hit clear history, then go to system tools, then disk cleanup and just check mark all boxes and hit delete and before you delete it will tell you how much space you will regain, but this will help speed up your computer and it may help the lag, iv get lag on youtube too but i help it some by turning off annotation in setting at bottom of the video, but i know youtube is alway changing or adding something so it could just be youtube, well hope this help.

I think there is a problem with your browser. Which one do you use? For YouTube, google chrome is the best. If you are already using chrome, clear all the cache, delete all the extensions if there is any, update the chrome.

Or if the problem still persists, check with your graphics driver, reinstall the driver and restart the system.

They updated youtube few days ago, just updates considering commenting, but who knows maybe they added some minor stuff that they didn't mention on their blog?

It may be just a coincidence, but it surely sounds suspicious if your problems started few days ago, same time they updated.

You can see what they updated from the link above.

Is it for all the videos or just one video? actually not all videos on youtube can play HD, it depends on the uploader and video type uploaded.
